Roofing Terms:

"3-Tab" or "Square Butt" or "2-10" refer to this type of shingle.

"T-Lock" or "Interlocking" refer to this type of shingle

"Architectural" or "Laminated" or "Fiberglas" often refer to this type of shingle.

"Pitch" refers to the angle of the roof often spoken in terms such as "6 in 12".  This indicates a roof the has a rise of 6 inches for every foot it is long.
